To design luxury spaces for luxury cars

The storing of rare, historic and exotic vehicles is traditionally carried out using large offsite storage facilities, which will keep your collection secure and protected. Vehicles are usually stored under a cover while their batteries are kept fully charged ready for your next visit. The downside is that you do not get to fully appreciate your favourite cars in a secure environment on a day to day basis. Forward planning is required when bringing a car back from the storage facility, which adds lots of time and puts extra miles on your car unless you trailer it home.

Regardless of the size of your collection, why not keep your favourite cars on site, at home in a totally discreet environment that no one except you knows about?

There is of course nothing new about creating a large garage space at home. However, instead of treating it as just storage space, you could create a totally unique, luxurious space that you can relax in and take your time to appreciate your favourite cars. You could entertain friends, family and business colleagues in this space with a comfortable lounge area that has a great view of the cars displayed in a gallery-like space. Features such as a sunken seating area, a large cinematic screen, a bar, a dining space and a view into an adjacent swimming pool can all be incorporated.

There are obviously some ways that are better than others in approaching this – many very expensive and covetable cars are kept in fairly substandard garages by their owners - a quick Google search will show you that a number of car collectors/owners with anything from four cars up to a large collection keep them in spaces that really do not give the cars justice. It’s often a cheap showroom type shiny floor, badly lit ambience, a chintzy looking seating area and a few Ferrari or Porsche posters and flags on the walls, or just a soulless concrete bunker with harsh lighting. We can reverse this trend by designing a space that will truly inspire and also celebrate the amazing vehicles that are displayed within it.

Rather than badly converted or new-build barn lookalikes, you could own something more dramatic and exquisite like the cars in your collection. If you cannot build above ground due to planning constraints, we could create a new subterranean structure with Bat-Cave influences.
