  • Jonathan Clark - Founder

    Jonathan studied and qualified as an architect at Kingston University in 1992 and set up Jonathan Clark Architects in 2002, having spent ten years working on a wide ranging portfolio of high profile projects for a number of well known architectural practices such as Philip Cox in Sydney (Olympics 2000 Aquatic Centre and city master planning in Kuwait), Future Systems (Lords Media Centre - Stirling Prize winner in 1999) and Dixon Jones (National Portrait Gallery extension).

    Jonathan Clark Architects’ work has been covered extensively in lifestyle, architectural and interiors print and media and have won a number of prestigious architectural awards including an RIBA Award. Jonathan is involved in all projects within the studio with a full overview of all design output. His experience includes private residential projects, commercial development, education, retail and restaurant/bar/cafe projects both in the UK and overseas plus now architecture and interior design for spaces to house and enjoy classic and supercars.

    Jonathan has always had a major interest in cars since early childhood and is slowly building up a small collection of his own.

    In creating Garage Deluxe, Jonathan has combined his passion for innovative architecture with his passion for the automotive world.

  • Martin Buckley - Consultant

    Martin was born in Liverpool and educated in Manchester. He has been a well-regarded writer within the motor industry for over 35 years, gaining an encyclopaedic knowledge of vintage cars.

    Starting in 1985 as a freelance writer, his career has included some of the top classic car enthusiast publishers in the UK, including Classic and Sportscar Magazine and Classic Cars Magazine. He has also published some 15 books on Jaguar, BMW, Fiat and MG.

    Martin is a keen collector and restorer of classic cars, having owned around 400 over the past 30 years. His knowledge of car storage and maintenance is invaluable when designing new spaces for our clients.

  • Timothy Everest MBE - Consultant

    Founder of Timothy Everest and subsequently MbE’s (Made by Everyone) bespoke and made to measure tailoring service, Timothy Everest was a pioneer of the New Bespoke Movement and in 2010 was awarded an MBE for his services to tailoring.

    Tim (as he is known to his friends and clients), began his career with the legendary Savile Row tailor, Tommy Nutter, who dressed the Beatles, Mick Jagger and David Hockney to name but a few. Tim has followed in Tommy’s footsteps dressing a myriad of rock stars, artists, actors and politicians and has a long history in the provision of the iconic wardrobes for major films such as Atonement, Skyfall and the Mission Impossible franchise.

    The consummate designer and collaborator, he has also worked with several car manufacturers including the creation of bespoke experiential events for Rolls Royce and Aston Martin and curating clothing product lines for McLaren and Morgan amongst others. As a result, he has a unique understanding of how to creatively curate a car related space.

    Tim has always had an active interest in cars starting with racing in his early years and owning several interesting classic cars including his late 1970s Jaguar XJS, which he has just had restored.
